Ilgoo Jeong

Chief Executive Officer

Ilgoo Jeong serves as SK siltron CSS’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jeong began his career as a financial analyst and fund manager. He joined SK innovation as a manager in 2012. From there, he became a project leader for the holding company, SK, Inc. In 2018, Mr. Jeong took a role as team leader in SK materials. In August 2020, he moved to SK siltron and joined the newly acquired SiC wafer business, becoming a corporate officer for SK siltron css.

 

Mr. Jeong graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, with a bachelor’s degree in general business administration and management in 2005.

Dr. Edward Sanchez, Ph.D.

Executive Advisor to CEO

Dr. Sanchez has over 25 years’ experience in the Silicon Carbide semiconductor industry. In the early 2000s, he worked as a senior research scientist for Sterling Semiconductor in Danbury, Connecticut. After a few years, Dr. Sanchez transferred to Dow Corning, where he worked for 12 years in R&D, Manufacturing and Quality, finishing there as the Process Integration Manager. From there, Dr. Sanchez became the R&D Manager for Dow’s Compound Semiconductor group.  The business moved to Dupont and Dr. Sanchez added the site leader to his responsibilities. He joined SK siltron css as part of the SK acquisition of DuPont’s compound semiconductor solutions group as the Vice President of Operations and Technology. He currently serves as SK siltron CSS’s Executive Advisor to CEO.

 

Dr. Sanchez graduated in 1995 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science. From there, he attended Carnegie Mellon University and received his Ph.D. in Materials Science in 2001.

Edward Chen

Vice President Commercial

Edward Chen has 20 years’ experience in technical sales and marketing with the most recent 12 years dedicated to Silicon Carbide. Mr. Chen began his power semiconductor career at Power Integrations as a technical sales engineer before advancing to regional manager. In 2012, he took on the role of Director Global Power Sales at Cree Power, now known as Wolfspeed. Mr Chen led an international sales team focused on SiC Schottky diodes, MOSFETs, and modules and grew revenues over 4x. In 2019, he joined GE Aerospace as Senior Director of Sales for Silicon Carbide to lead SiC device and module sales and marketing focusing on aerospace, military, and industrial applications.

 

Edward Chen graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 2004.

Keeyun Han

Vice President of Technology

Keeyun Han serves as SK siltron CSS’s Vice President of Technology.

Mr. Han is a veteran executive with over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions at SK Siltron as an engineer and team leader, focusing on Si wafer quality and productivity development, equipment development and improvement, and factory automation.

Since 2021, he has led SiC wafering/EPI development, and since moving to SK siltron CSS in 2025, he has played a crucial role in the overall development and technological improvement of the entire process from growing to EPI.

 

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University  in Korea and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Howard McCready

Vice President of Operations

Howard McCready brings over 30 years of manufacturing expertise and global leadership to our executive team. Having held senior roles across the aerospace & defense, specialty metals, paper, and plastics industries, he possesses a rare "360-degree" view of the industrial landscape. 

 

Howard is defined by his ability to drive significant improvements in EBITDA through data-driven operational health and strategic cost-reduction initiatives. He has a proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and dramatically increasing on-time performance. By aligning global supply chains with financial rigor, Howard consistently transforms complex challenges into measurable bottom-line value.

 

Mr. McCready graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Business Degree in 2000.  He also received an Advanced Masters Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in 2013.
